MDF PASSIVATING PRIMER
Storage:
Protect from frost/freezing.
Where to use:
Interior bare MDF and other similar wood products including ply, prior to painting.
Absorbs formaldehyde and other VOCs down to approx 1 ppm.
Preparation:
Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free of grease and dust.
Application:
DO NOT THIN.
Stir gently and thoroughly before use.
Apply one or two coats by brush or roller and allow to dry for at least two hours before overcoating.
Denib only if necessary.
Avoid temperatures below 41°F (5°C) and above 68°F (20°C).
Clean equipment and brushes with water.
Normally touch dry in 1-2 hours
Slight discoloration of this white paint by some grades of MDF does not affect the performance.
Coverage:
Varies with porosity, but one Quart will cover approximately 130 Sq Ft per coat, or one Gallon, 520 Sq Ft.
Health & Safety:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash off splashes with water. Keep out of reach of children.
