STONE & TILE SEALER FOR FLOORS & WORKTOPS

Protect from frost/freezing.
Attributes:
This odourless, solvent free sealer offers unrivalled protection for plain or rough stone and tile floors, worktops, splashbacks and other stone & tile surfaces.
It does not noticeably change the appearance or color of the surface once dry and has no shine.
It sheds water and mud, and protects against most food stains including tea, coffee, red wine, cordial, blackcurrant and other fruit juices, milk, sauces, curry, ketchup, etc.
NOTE: It offers only minimal protection against oily/greasy stains.
It is entirely non-toxic.
Where to use:
Plain and rough stone and unglazed tiles including terracotta, slate, limestone, marble, sandstone, reconstituted stones and tiles, and also the cement/grout used in-between.
Not ideally suited to polished granite or similar.
Preparation:
Ensure the surface is sound, dry, non-dusty, non-greasy.
If in doubt as to the suitability of this product, a test area on scrap or spare tile/stone is highly recommended.
Application:
Shake or stir before use.
Apply one thin coat by spray, brush, roller, squeegee or sponge - depending on the porosity of the substrate.
Do not allow ponding of the product.
Remove any surface residual liquid straight away with a sponge or cloth.
Dries in approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on local ventilation.
Clean equipment with water.
Coverage:
Varies considerably with the porosity of the substrate, but is normally in the range: 50 Sq Ft per Quart (for terracotta, sandstone, or similar) to 150 Sq Ft per Quart (for slate, marble, limestone etc).
These figures are for guidance only and are per coat.
Health & Safety:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash off splashes with water. Keep out of reach of children.
