Some colors of paint have relatively poor hiding power. This is unavoidable and true for all manufacturers and paint types. The ideal solution is a grey basecoat.
We have an odorless, allergy safe basecoat designed specifically for each of our finishing paints. When ordering Signal or Crimson (and some similar color-matched shades), you will be prompted to include this Basecoat to ensure you get the best possible finish. Each is odorless and completely safe, just like the finishing paint.
