An excellent bonding layer for ECOS Paints.
This is wonderful paint!
It goes on smoothly and dries to perfection. We used one coat of primer and two coats of paint. Our crib and changing table are absolutely beautiful.
Consistent ECOS Standards
All of our health-focused primers are formulated to stop the headaches, breathing problems, nausea, and other issues associated with conventional primers. Even if you’re not sensitive to these chemicals, the lack of odors with ECOS primers creates a more pleasant environment for your decorating projects.
Seal of Approval
We pride ourselves on letting you know exactly what’s in our products. At ECOS, we provide third-party verified ingredient lists (Declare Labels) for all of our products for your peace of mind.
Why do I Need a Primer?
Primers are necessary in many situations - they can help you prepare a bare substrate, remedy a rough surface, or help to modify a color. A good primer is the start of a great finish.
What Color Primer Should I Use?
Most projects call for a white primer. But, if you’re painting a room in a darker color we recommend using our tinted primer instead.
Easy to Apply
Our primers are applied just like any conventional primer, using a brush, roller, or sprayer. And we don’t fill the can with cheap, harmful solvents that just evaporate into the air. The result? Primer with a much higher solids content that spreads beautifully and provides the base for an exceptional finish.
Gentler on the Environment
All of our water-based products are carefully crafted to be purer than conventional paints and primers. That, combined with our use of cans made from recycled plastic and our biodegradable packaging, means we’re gentler on the environment, too.
We don’t compromise on quality and we don’t expect you to either.
