The Best Eco-Friendly Baby Products for New Parents

Lullaby 07/01/2016

One of the biggest challenges of being an eco-concious new parent is deciding which products are the best picks for starting baby on the right (read: non-toxic) track. In order to help new parents with this task, we rounded up eleven of the best eco-friendly baby products for new parents, from mattresses to baby food to diaper bags and more! Plus, we're doing a giveaway to help get your eco-friendly nursery in tip-top shape!

#1 Crib mattress: Newton Rest Crib Mattress

The baby mattress got the number one spot on our list, because it's of absolute importance that childrens' mattresses be non-toxic. Think of how many hours your wee one will spend in direct contact with it! This mattress boasts many pediatrician recommendations. The breathable design significantly reduces the risk of suffocation, while improved air circulation prevents sweaty backs and overheating. In addition, it's completely washable for the highest level of hygiene. And the mattress contains no foam, latex, springs, glue, or allergens - AND is 100% recyclable. A definite winner in our book!

#2 Swaddling blankets: Aden + Anais Warrior Finn Organic Swaddles

This organic version of the company's blankets is somehow even softer than the original!

This shoulder tote comes with a host of accessories, including a removable pouch for keys and cash, an insulated bottle holder, and a built-in wet bag for damp or dirty clothing.

The nipples are made of all-natural rubber and are free of harmful chemicals. Its natural softness creates a feeding experience more like breastfeeding, and the anti-colic double-valve helps prevent colic and gas.
